How to Make the Perfect Meatloaf — Step by Step

With My Family's Seasonings, making a delicious and nutritious meal is as easy as 1-2-3.

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 60 minutes | Pan: 9 x 5 Loaf Pan

You will need: 2 eggs · 3/4 cup milk · 1 1/2 lb ground beef · 1/2 cup ketchup · 1/2 cup packed brown sugar · 1 package of our all natural meatloaf mix

Step 1 — Prepare the Pan

Firmly pack brown sugar into the bottom of a 9 x 5 loaf pan. Evenly spread ketchup across the top of the brown sugar. If using a larger pan, increase the amount of brown sugar and ketchup to evenly cover the entire bottom.

Step 2 — Mix and Shape

In a large bowl, mix one package of My Family's Seasonings Meatloaf Mix with the ground beef. Add two eggs and 3/4 cup milk. Mix well. Place the meat mixture in the loaf pan and press gently to make the loaf. For added flavor, you can add four strips of bacon to the top.

Step 3 — Bake and Serve

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 60 minutes or until liquids run clear. Let the meatloaf cool 5 minutes, then flip the pan over onto a plate. Spread the ketchup and brown sugar mixture over the meatloaf, pour juices across the top, and serve.

Pro Tip: The brown sugar and ketchup glaze caramelizes beautifully on the bottom of the pan — flipping it creates a stunning, restaurant-worthy presentation that will impress every time.
